Application Specialist - Optometrist - Mids & North West
Application Specialist job in the West Midlands & North West. Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit an Application Specialist for a global eyewear and eye care company offering comprehensive solutions for eye care professionals The purpose of this role is to support a new product rollout into a large group of practices across the UK. This is a national role but the successful candidate will be based in the Midlands / North West region.
Our client offers an extensive product range including lens care items, eyewear accessories, prescription safety eyewear, lab and dispensing tools, ocular surface products, exam supplies, and vision testing equipment.
Application Specialist – Role
- Develop marketing collateral, including brochures, digital assets, and sales presentations.
- Plan and execute product launch campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, trade shows).
- Develop customer segmentation and target lists for sales outreach.
- Provide training for customers on product features and troubleshooting.
- Gather feedback from customers and sales teams for ongoing improvements.
- Coordinate with distributors and retail partners for a smooth product introduction.
- Monitor post-launch performance and address any quality or usability concerns.
Application Specialist – Requirements
- GOC registered Optometrist
- Interest in perimetry / new technology
- Thorough knowledge of company products and services
- Strong commercial skills
Application Specialist – Salary
- Salary between £50-60k
